Kurdish Peshmerga and YPG are two succesful military forces,  operating on the ground in northen Iraq and Syria,  fighting against the so called "Islamic State" or IS / ISIS / ISIL / Daesh.
Peshmerga and YPG are today very well equiped with modern weapons and are fighting for the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan.
